Samuka L. Kabah

Biography

Samaka L. Kabah, an effective, resourceful and skilled professional with 10 years of working experience in Program Management and implementation, Human rights advocacy, Data management, Analysis, and Quality control. Presently, Samuka works as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Naymote Partners for Democratic Development.

He is a Masters in Public Administration student at the Cuttington University School of Graduate and Professional Studies, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the United Methodist University and an Associate of Arts Degree in Education from the LICOSSES Teacher Training College. He is a distinct fellow of the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program, Youth Organizing School OPACE 5.0 and the Young African Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Center, Cohort 10 and holds several professional certifications from reputable institutions across Africa and America.

Samuka has expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation, programs and projects management and enjoys working with under-developed communities and youth through capacity building programs, policy advocacy and promoting Accountability, Democracy and citizens Access to Justice and the rule of law in Liberia. Currently, He works for one of Liberia’s prime democracy advancement institution, Naymote Partners for Democratic Development as Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. He has serve as project manager for the USAID Liberia Accountability and Voice Initiative Natural Resource Management project, Electoral Reforms Project, Agriculture Concessions project as well as a member on the project management team of The Carter Center Access to Justice and the Rule of Law program. He has over the years advanced youth involvement in civic and voters education through school and community base campaign across Liberia and has organized several training on Local government across the country.

Samuka has also volunteered for several youth groups including the Liberia Bus Project and the March for Justice campaign to promote good governance and discourage violence against women in Liberia. He is skilled in data management processes, data quality control and analysis and is motivated by his passion to promote good governance and democracy, youth and women participation, elections and peacebuilding and promoting quality education.
