Naymote Partners for Democratic Development invites applications from qualified Liberia-registered IT firms or institutions to design, develop and operationalize a Democracy Innovation Hub (DIH). The assignment aims to deliver a secure, user-friendly, and scalable digital platform, alongside the establishment of a functional physical innovation space.
Under its Democracy Advancement Program (DAP) implemented with support from the Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Naymote is seeking to establish a Democracy Innovation Hub (DIH).
The DIH will be a hybrid (digital and physical) platform designed to promote political education, civic engagement, democratic learning, innovation and elections. The platform will serve young people across the ECOWAS region by fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and civic innovation. It will also be used by the YPLS Africa Alumni Association for networking and information sharing across the continent.
Overall goal: To strengthen democratic governance and civic engagement across the ECOWAS region by promoting innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing among youth and civic actors.
Interested firms must:
- Be legally registered in Liberia with valid business registration and tax clearance
- Have a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in web/platform development
- Demonstrate strong expertise in UI/UX design and digital systems
- Have experience in civic technology, e-learning, or community platforms (preferred)
- Possess a qualified and experienced technical team
