Naymote concludes its Step-Down Training

Our institution, NAYMOTE-Liberia concludes its Step Down Training for her newly selected mentees through the National Young Women Political Council. The training which took place across the 15 counties enhanced the capacity of young women leaders in Leadership, community organizing, democratic principles, public speaking among many other topics.

Through the National Young Women Political Council, our first cohort of mentees in partnership with counties gender coordinators built the capacity of these young women leaders. Montserrado, Grand Kru, Bomi, Margibi, Bong, Grand Gedeh, Lofa, Maryland, Nimba, River-Gee, Grand Kru, and Gbarpolu counties have rolled out their training for a total of one hundred and twenty-three (123) young women leaders.

The step-down training was geared towards enhancing young women’s capacity to promote grassroots women leadership and support women’s political participation by mentoring and empowering the 2nd cohort of mentees for the Young Women Mentorship Program. One Hundred and fifty (150) young women leaders across the fifteen counties  participated in this training.
