Deputy Head of the Swedish Embassy in Monrovia, applauds Naymote CJAs

Over the week, our institution NAYMOTE-Liberia conducted a daylong meeting at it’s Regional Office with the Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Development Cooperation, Johan Romare. The meeting focused on experience sharing on the ‘Liberia-Access to Justice: Community Justice Advisor Project’ and solidification of an ongoing partnership. Our institution Regional Coordinator, Prince E. Cooper and Program Manager, Joshua Dennis Cleon shared the impact of its ‘Liberia-Access to Justice:Community Justice Advisor Project’ implementation since it’s inception in Bong and Montserrado counties.

CJAs Grace M Kamara and Carcious Allen also shared their experiences working on the project in 50 communities. A female client who received justice service from NAYMOTE explained her encounter with our community justice advisor and the impact such experience has had on her life.

In a special remark, Johan Romare expressed delight about NAYMOTE’s work and committed Sweden continual support to the rule of law in Liberia.

Many thanks to the Carter Center for the support.
